2014 AKC Hunt Test Gallery 2

This gallery page has images of some of the workers and judges from our hunt test as well as some photos of good times at our Saturday after the hunt test get-together — featuring our fantastic raffle, barbecue, and some happy handlers who had just received ribbons for a passing score at their  hunt test stake.

Meet the Breeds

What is Meet the Breeds all about?

Meet the Breeds is held in conjunction with the Eukanuba Dog Show.  In our area it was held in December. For five years it was held  in California and then for 5 years it was scheduled to be  in Florida.  The last year that it was held in California was 2010. We are expecting it to be back in California in 2016 .

At the Meet the Breeds, the public is able to go around and
see all the different breeds of dogs that AKC recognizes.  At the time of our shows there were over 170 breeds. The public was allowed to see and touch the dogs and ask the owners about the breed. It is a way for the public to see the breeds and maybe decide on which one would be good for their family.

Susan Liby stated that, ” I know that a couple of current Flat-Coat owners decided on this breed due to seeing and talking to the owners.”

It was a fun filled 2 days,  in which it was stated that over 10,000 people came thru the booths  to see the various breeds of dogs.

Below is a photo gallery of the Meet the Breeds from 2006 to 2010.
